TOWSON, MD—Police are investigating after a minor was injured in a shooting in Towson on Wednesday night.
At around 9:30 p.m. on August 23, officers responded to a local hospital for a call of a walk-in shooting victim after a 16-year-old male walked into the hospital with a gunshot wound to the upper body.
Officers determined that the shooting occurred at Towson High School, located in the unit block of Cedar Avenue (21286).
Detectives were able to conclude that this shooting was an accidental discharging. There is no active threat to the community regarding this incident.
