PERRY HALL, MD—Who said pedestrian crosswalks are only meant for people?
A pig that had gotten loose used the brand new raised crosswalk at Chapel Hill Elementary School in Perry Hall on Friday, according to the Baltimore County Department of Public Works and transportation.
From DPWT:
Even the locals are getting in on the pedestrian safety action! A colossal pig decided to take a stroll in style, making full use of the brand-new raised crosswalk near Chapel Hill Elementary School. Who said crosswalks are just for two-legged creatures? Remember, if this Piggy can use it correctly, so can you! Safety first!
Police eventually managed to round up the safety-conscious sow.
