Rosedale man claims winning $100,000 Maryland Lottery scratch-off

BALTIMORE, MD—A Rosedale man was all smiles as he entered Maryland Lottery headquarters with a top prize $100,000 Lucky scratch-off ticket in his hand.

According to the Baltimore County man, he used a coin to scratch off his $100,000 prize and was happy when he saw his number matched one of the winning numbers.

“I was shocked. It’s starting to sink in,” he said about his win.

The medical worker is undecided on how he is going to spend his new prize.  The 63-year-old loves to fish and crab and plans to keep playing scratch-offs.

“I encourage everyone to play. You can’t win if you don’t play,” he said.

The winning ticket was sold at the Quick Mart at 7900 Wise Avenue in Dundalk.
