BALTIMORE, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for the Baltimore area.
The watch will be in effect from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 15th.
Forecasters say additional heavy rainfall on Tuesday will enhance the threat for further flash flooding issues.
Hourly rainfall rates of 1.50 to 2.00 inches are possible in the heaviest downpours.
Thunderstorms may be slow to move initially before becoming more progressive later in the afternoon.
Residents should stay tuned to local forecasts throughout the day.
