Suspect arrested following Parkville assault, Rosedale business burglarized

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating an assault, an auto theft, and several burglaries that were reported this month.

Sometime between Tuesday, August 1 and Wednesday, August 2, 2023, an individual stole items from a vehicle in the 7900-block of Bridge Avenue in Rosedale (21237).

At just after midnight on Wednesday, August 2, two individuals broke into a business located in the 8600-block of Pulaski Highway in Rosedale (21237) and stole an undisclosed amount of money before leaving.

At around 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, August 3, an individual broke into a shed in the 8300-block of Philadelphia Road in Rosedale (21237) and stole multiple items.



At around 4:30 p.m. on Monday, August 7, an individual stole a silver 2013 Hyundai with MD registration “6CB0969” from the unit block of Saturn Court in Hillendale (21234).

At just before 10:45 p.m. on Monday, August 7, a known individual committed a first-degree assault in the 8400-block of Arbor Station Way in Parkville (21234). The suspect was located and arrested.

Sometime between Between 9 p.m. on Monday, August 7 and 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 8, an individual damaged a vehicle while unsuccessfully attempting to steal it in the unit block of Dowling Circle in Hillendale (21234).

At just before 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 7, a known individual stole a vehicle from the 2900-block of East Joppa Road in Carney (21234).  The suspect was subsequently arrested.
