Flood Watch issued for Baltimore area

BALTIMORE, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for the Baltimore area.

The watch will be in effect from 8 p.m. on Sunday to 2 a.m. on Monday.



Forecasters expect heavy rain to move through the area with 1–2 inches of rainfall, with higher totals possible, in a short amount of time.

Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, and streams.
