Police investigating two assaults, three burglaries

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating two assaults and three burglaries that were reported over the past week.

Sometime between 12:45 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, an individual broke into a residence in the 7600-block of Chapman Road in Kingsville (21087) and stole the victim’s property.

At just after 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, a first-degree assault involving a weapon occurred in the area of Fontana Lane at Philadelphia Road in Rosedale (21237).



At around 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, an individual broke into a location in the unit block of Dalmeny Court in Parkville (21234) and stole property.

At just after 9 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, a known individual with a weapon committed a first-degree assault in the 9300-block of Beowulf Circle in Rosedale (21237). The suspect was arrested.

At just before 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, an individual broke into a location in the 3800-block of East Joppa Road in Nottingham (21236) and stole property.
