Pedestrian fatally struck in Baltimore County

MILFORD MILL, MD—Police are investigating after a pedestrian was fatally struck in Baltimore County earlier this month.

At around 11:45 p.m. on Monday, July 3, officers with the Baltimore County Police Department responded to a reported pedestrian crash that occurred near the intersection of Rolling Road and Dogwood Road (21244).



Detectives have determined that 75-year-old Bernard Emanuel was struck by a 2004 Acura TL traveling southbound on Rolling Road and an unknown vehicle traveling northbound as he attempted to cross Rolling Road.

Medics transported Emanuel to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead on July 22. The driver of the Acura remained at the scene; the unknown vehicle did not.

The Baltimore County Police Department continues to investigate this incident and the circumstances surrounding it.
