JOPPA, MD—Police are investigating after a Joppa fast food restaurant was robbed at gunpoint on Monday night.
At around 8:15 p.m. on July 24, 2023, deputies with the Harford County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Wendy’s located in the 1000-block of Joppa Farm Road for a report of an armed robbery.
Upon arrival, deputies were informed that an unknown male dressed in a black and gray sweatshirt with dark jeans and a white ball cap carrying a bag had entered the store, displayed a gun and demanded money.
The suspect fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division responded and assumed the investigation. Anyone with information on this crime, or suspect, is asked to call the Harford County Sheriff’s Office.
