Robbery reported in Middle River, rash of auto thefts continues in Parkville/Hillendale area

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating a robbery and several auto thefts that were reported over the past week.

Sometime between Tuesday, July 11 and Wednesday, July 12, 2023, someone stole a 2014 silver Hyundai Elantra with MD registration “5CE4464” from the area of White Oak Avenue at Chestnut Oak Road  (21234).

At around 9 a.m. on Thursday, July 13, an armed individual robbed a business located in the 3000-block of Eastern Boulevard (21220).  The suspect stole an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing on foot.



Sometime between 5:45 p.m. on Saturday, July 15 and 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 16, an individual stole a 2013 grey Nissan with MD registration “1CC2079” from the 7400-block of Forrest Avenue (21234).

Between midnight and 5:15 a.m. on Monday, July 17, someone stole a 2020 white Kia Optima with MD registration “1FA7869” from the 8300-block of Dalesford Road (21234).

At just after 4 a.m. on Monday, July 17, two suspects attempted to steal a vehicle from the 6600-block of Collinsdale Road (21234).
