Carl Armstrong named Principal at Kenwood High School

TOWSON, MD—Carl Armstrong has been appointed Principal at Kenwood High School.

Armstrong has 16 years of experience with Baltimore County Public Schools, most recently serving as Assistant Principal at Parkville High School.

From 2010-2017, Armstrong taught Spanish at Perry Hall High School, where he also served as World Languages Department Chair. He participated in the rewriting of the countywide Spanish 3 curriculum.



From 2007-2010, Armstrong taught at Deer Park Middle Magnet, where he also served as Acting World Languages Department Chair.

Armstrong holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Michigan State University and a master’s degree in School Administration and Supervision from Johns Hopkins University.

“Congratulations to Mr. Carl Armstrong on his appointment to Principal of Kenwood High School,” said Board of Education of Baltimore County member Julie Henn on Friday.  “I look forward to meeting with Principal Armstrong very soon and are excited to welcome him to Kenwood and to offer our full support!”
