ROSEDALE, MD—Bryan Thanner has been named principal at the new Northeast Middle School.
Thanner previously served as principal at Stemmers Run Middle School. Under his leadership, in 2019, SRMS became the first BCPS school authorized by the International Baccalaureate as an IB World School for the Middle Years Programme (MYP).
“Baltimore County Councilman David Marks and I are excited to work with and support Principal Thanner as we open the first new middle school in eastern Baltimore County in decades,” said Board of Education of Baltimore County member Julie Henn on Monday.
The new Northeast Middle School is tentatively scheduled to open in September 2024.
