BALTIMORE, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the Baltimore area.
The watch will remain in effect until 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 9, 2023.
A Flood Watch is also in effect. Forecasters say a widespread 1-2 inches of rainfall is expected across the Flood Watch area, with isolated totals in excess of 4 inches possible.
There is a risk for flash flooding and damaging winds across the region on Sunday. The highest risk for flash flooding is generally near and northwest of the I-95 corridor.
