NOTTINGHAM, MD—Crews performed several rescues overnight as motorists became trapped in rapidly rising flood waters.
At just before 11 p.m. on July 3, units from White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company assisted motorists on Snyder Lane at E. Joppa Road in Perry Hall (21128) after their vehicles became stuck in high water.
Crews from Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company and Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company also responded to the 900-block of Joppa Farm Road after multiple vehicles attempted to drive through flood waters.
Parts of Joppa Farm Road were closed until the high water subsided.
No injuries were reported.
