Severe Thunderstorm Watch issued for Baltimore area on Monday

BALTIMORE, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the Baltimore area.

The watch will remain in effect until 10 p.m. on Monday, July 3, 2023.

Forecasters say storms are likely to develop throughout the afternoon and into the evening hours.

Frequent lightning is possible, along with wind gusts of up to 75 MPH and ping pong ball-sized hail.



Residents should stay tuned to local forecasts throughout the day.
