BALTIMORE, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the Baltimore area.

The watch covers much of central Maryland and will remain in effect until 11 p.m. on Sunday, July 2, 2023.

Forecasters saysevere storms are possible, with strong wind gusts and damaging hail.
