Pedestrian struck & killed in Dundalk

DUNDALK, MD—Police say a pedestrian was struck and killed in Dundalk on Friday night.

At just after 9:45 p.m. on June 30, 2023, officers with the Baltimore County Police Department responded to a reported pedestrian crash that occurred near the intersection of Merritt Boulevard and Rabon Avenue (21222).



Detectives have determined that 60-year-old Robert Bryden was struck by a 2011 Acura MDX traveling northbound on Merritt Boulevard as he was attempting to cross Merritt Boulevard.

Medics pronounced Bryden deceased at the scene. The driver of the Acura remained at the scene.

Police to investigate this incident and the circumstances surrounding it.
