Councilman Marks appoints Jack Heitner to Baltimore County Arts and Sciences Commission

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Councilman David Marks on Friday announced that he will appoint Jack Heitner to the Arts and Sciences Commission, which supports cultural activities and institutions in Baltimore County and the region.

Jack is an accomplished 18-year-old performer and emerging talent from Perry Hall. He recently graduated from Perry Hall High School and will attend Towson University.

Jack showcased his acting skills in PHHS’ production of “Fiddler on the Roof,” where he portrayed the character Teva. He is also known locally as singer/songwriter Jack Heit, where he can be seen entertaining crowds with his original music and cover tunes.

“Jack is excited to represent his community on the Baltimore County Arts and Science Commission,” said Councilman Marks on Friday. “I am particularly happy to name someone of his age and commitment.”

“Many thanks to David Ninos, our retiring Commission member,” Marks added. “David did an exceptional job and will continue to make an influence in education and the arts.”
