Perry Hall High School principal leaving post to take BCPS leadership position

PERRY HALL, MD—The principal of Perry Hall High School is leaving his post.

Board of Education of Baltimore County member Julie Henn on Wednesday announced that Craig Reed has been selected as BCPS’ Executive Director for High Schools.

Reed was named principal at PHHS in 2019, succeeding Andrew Last who retired after a five-year stint.

“Perry Hall has been blessed by Principal Reed’s leadership and we remain fortunate that he will not be far,” Henn said Wednesday morning. “I have appreciated his communication and partnership both with me and with Baltimore County Councilman David Marks and am excited to work with Craig in his new role.”

“Best wishes to Mr. Reed as he leaves the helm of Perry Hall High School, and I look forward to working with his successor,” said Councilman Marks.
