BALTIMORE, MD—When will the severe weather arrive in the Baltimore area on Monday?
The National Weather Service says it will be an active weather day as severe thunderstorms are expected to impact much of central Maryland.
The storms are forecast to reach the I-95 corridor during the evening rush hour, likely between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m. Thunderstorm chances persist into the early overnight hours.
Forecasters say damaging wind gusts and large hail will be the primary threats associated with these storms.
Residents should stay weather aware, and be ready to seek shelter if warnings are issued.
