TOWSON, MD—The annual Law Enforcement Torch Run to benefit Special Olympics Maryland took place in Towson on Thursday morning.
This marked the 37th year that Baltimore County Police Department officers and Special Olympics athletes joined in supporting the annual fundraiser. During the event, the Special Olympics torch was carried by both police officers and Special Olympics athletes.
The three-mile run started and ended at the Public Safety Building in Towson.
The Baltimore County Police Department has raised thousands of dollars over the years to support Special Olympics Maryland.
