Crews working to rescue logger stuck in tree in Glen Arm

UPDATE: After nearly two hours, crews have rescued the tree trimmer stuck in a tree after being injured. The patient is being transported to Shock Trauma via Medevac with serious injuries.

GLEN ARM, MD—Emergency crews are performing a high-angle rescue in the Glen Arm area.

At just before 4 p.m., units responded to the 10900-block of Notchcliff Road.

At the scene, medics found that an injured logger was stuck in a tree.

Aviation units are responding to assist with the rescue and to help with transport to Shock Trauma.

Motorists should avoid the area.
