PERRY HALL, MD—A Nepalese cyclist on a 5,000-mile journey stopped in Perry Hall on Saturday.
Ajit Baral stopped at Honeygo Park on June 3, 2023.
At 23 years of age, Baral was paralyzed due to a spinal cord condition. After an intense physical rehabilitation program, he recovered to the point that he wanted to share his message of overcoming challenges in life.
Ajit is now cycling to New York and documenting his journey at Traveling with Ajit (YouTube / Instagram). Baral has completed about 1,500 miles — the equivalent of 22,000 football fields — of his planned 5,000-mile ride, according to ABC 10.
