MIDDLE RIVER, MD—Authorities are investigating after a Wednesday morning crash on Pulaski Highway in Middle River left one person dead.
The crash was reported at around 5:30 a.m. on May 17, 2023 on Route 40 west of Middle River Road (21220).
Investigators have determined that the operator of a 2019 Mitsubishi Mirage was attempting to make a U-turn from the westbound lane of travel when it collided with a 2011 Toyota Rav4 traveling eastbound.
Medics transported the driver of the Mitsubishi, 33-year-old Kenneth Chester Jr., to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The driver of the Toyota was taken to a local hospital with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.
This crash remains under investigation by members of the Baltimore County Police Department Crash Team. Anyone who may have information about this crash is asked to contact police 410-307-2020.
