PERRY HALL, MD—A regular Maryland Lottery player from Perry Hall got a surprise when he arrived home from an evening out with his wife on May 7: a $32,109 win on a Racetrax ticket.
During the evening, the couple stopped at Dan’s Cigar Lounge at 8300 Pulaski Highway in Rosedale and he bought a 10-game Racetrax ticket.
“When I got home and checked it, I had won,” he said on May 9 while at Maryland Lottery headquarters after claiming his prize.
He bought the ticket during the first leg of the Racetrax Triple Crown ($6 for $5), which coincides with horseracing’s Triple Crown races. From May 15-21 and June 5-11, players can make a $6 Racetrax purchase to get a $1 discount. The maximum discount is $5 on any ticket valued at $30 or more.
