Suspects arrested during Hillendale auto theft attempt, assault reported on Route 40

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating an assault, a theft, and an attempted burglary that were reported over the past week.

Sometime between December 1, 2022, and May 3, 2023, an inflatable boat was stolen from the 3300-block of Edwards Lane in Middle River (21220).



At 11:45 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, a first-degree assault occurred in the 8000-block of Pulaski Highway in Rosedale (21237).

At around 12:30 a.m. on Monday, May 8, two suspects attempted to steal  property from a business in the 8400-block of Pulaski Highway in Rosedale (21237) but were unable to do so. No property was stolen, and nothing was damaged.

At just after 8:15 p.m. on Monday, May 8, officers responded to the 1300-block of Mantle Street in Hillendale (21234) for an attempted vehicle theft. Three suspects were taken into custody and charged.
