Suspect arrested during Rosedale robbery attempt, vehicles stolen in Hillendale

ROSEDALE, MD—Police are investigating two Rosedale-area robberies and two Hillendale auto thefts that were reported over the past week.

Between 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2 and 7:15 a.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, a 2015 white Hyundai Sonata with MD registration A380540 was stolen from the 1300-block of Halstead Road in Hillendale (21234).

At around 1:45 a.m. on Thursday, May 4, an individual stole a 2015 black Ford Expedition with MD registration 7DX7225 from the 8100-block of Bon Air Road in Hillendale (21234).



At just before 5:30 a.m. on Friday, May 5, three suspects assaulted and robbed someone in the area of Philadelphia Road at Petrie Way in Rosedale (21237) before leaving in a vehicle.

At 2:15 a.m. on Saturday, May 6, a suspect was arrested while attempting to steal money from a location in the 8800-block of Philadelphia Road in Rosedale (21237).
