Pedestrian struck & killed on Pulaski Highway

ROSEDALE, MD—Police say a pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle in Rosedale on Friday night.

At just before 10:30 p.m. on May 5, 2023, officers responded to the 8500-block of Pulaski Highway (21237) in reference to a pedestrian being struck.



When police arrived, they located an adult male suffering from life-threatening injuries.

Medics transported 65-year-old Ronald Kucharczyk to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The Baltimore County Police Crash Team has determined the pedestrian was attempting to cross the eastbound lanes of Pulaski Highway when he was struck by a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. The driver of the Silverado remained at the scene.

This case remains under investigation.
