WHITE MARSH, MD—Police have arrested two suspects in connection with a shooting that occurred in White Marsh earlier this month.
At around 8:30 p.m. on April 10, 2023, officers with the Baltimore County Police Department responded to the 8200-block of Perry Hall Boulevard (21236) to investigate a reported assault. When officers arrived, they located an adult male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim had reportedly entered the Olive Garden restaurant seeking help.
Detectives have determined the shooting occurred on White Marsh Boulevard between Belair Road and Perry Hall Boulevard. The shooting happened as the suspects pulled alongside the victim’s car and fired several shots into the driver’s side window, which caused the victim’s vehicle to crash.
Michael A. Carthen, 52, and a 17-year-old juvenile face multiple charges, including attempted murder, assault, and use of a firearm in the commission of a crime of violence.
Both suspects are being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
