BALTIMORE, MD—The National Weather Service in Baltimore has confirmed that a tornado touched down in Maryland on Saturday.
The EF-0 twister touched down in Poolesville at just before 2 p.m. on April 22, 2023.
The tornado packed 75 mph winds and was on the ground for about 100 yards. It was approximately 25 yards wide, according to NWS officials.
A few trees were snapped and uprooted and large, hardwood tree branches were broken.
No injuries were reported.
