BALTIMORE, MD—Following what is expected to be an unusually warm Friday, forecasters say storms are likely in the Baltimore area on Saturday.
The National Weather Service says scattered, severe thunderstorms with damaging winds, large hail, and a few tornadoes are possible Saturday afternoon and into the early evening hours.
A seasonably strong cold front will usher in the gusty winds.
Temperatures will be notably cooler behind the front, with highs of only around 60 degrees into the first half of next week.
Residents should stay tuned to local forecasts throughout the day on Saturday.
