BALTIMORE, MD—Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a quadruple shooting that occurred in northeast Baltimore earlier this month.
On Wednesday, April 19, 2023, members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force (CARFTF) arrested 48-year-old Marvelle Worsley of Baltimore, in the 1800-block of Harford Road in Baltimore County.
Investigators believe that on April 1, 2023, Worsley shot four individuals, killing 41-year-old Girard Smith, 49-year-old Charles Murray, and 69-year-old Darlene Briscoe, while also leaving a 31-year-old female in critical condition, in the 3200-block of Woodring Avenue (21234).
Worsley was transported by detectives to the Central Booking Intake Facility where he has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder, one count of first-degree attempted murder, and various handgun violations.
