Police investigating Hillendale auto theft, numerous burglaries & assaults reported

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating an auto theft and several assaults & burglaries that were reported over the past week.

Sometime between March 29 and April 10, 2023 , an individual broke into a location in the 700-block of Seneca Garden Road in Middle River (21220).

Sometime between April 2 and April 7, an individual broke into a residence in the 7400-block of Chesapeake Road in Middle River (21220).  The suspect stole an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the scene.

At around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, an individual was assaulted in the 2400-block of Harwood Road in Carney (21234).  The suspect was arrested.



At just before 11:15 p.m. on Friday, April 7, a first-degree assault with a weapon occurred in the 1800-block of East Joppa Road in Parkville (21234). The suspect fled in a vehicle and was arrested.

At around 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, a first-degree assault with a weapon occurred in the 5300-block of Nottingridge Road in Nottingham (21236).

Between 6:00 and 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 9, an individual burglarized a location in the 1700-block of Bowleys Quarters Road in Bowleys Quarters (21220) and stole an undisclosed amount of money.

At around 7:15 a.m. on Sunday, April 9, officers responded to the unit block of Terron Court in Hillendale (21234) for a report of a vehicle theft. The owner had left the keys in a gray Honda Accord. The vehicle was running and unattended when a suspect stole it.
