BALTIMORE, MD—Someone who purchased a Powerball ticket in Maryland will soon be a millionaire.
Maryland Lottery officials say a winning $1 million Powerball ticket was sold on Saturday, April 8, 2023 in Frederick County.
The winning ticket was sold at the Sheetz located at 3842 Burkittsville Road in Knoxville and has not yet been claimed.
Another winning $100,000 Powerball ticket was sold on April 3 in Reisterstown and has already been claimed.
Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery Claims Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only.
