CARNEY, MD—Old Harford Road remains closed on Sunday night after this weekend’s powerful winds brought down a tree across power lines over the roadway.
Saturday evening’s storms produced strong winds throughout the Baltimore area that brought down trees, created power outages, and briefly shut down the Key Bridge and Chesapeake Bay Bridge.
More than 24 hours later, Old Harford Road remains closed north of Placid Avenue as a tree dangles precariously in the power lines over the roadway. No utility crews have been seen in the area on Sunday.
There is no word as to when the road will be reopened.
