Wind Advisory issued for Baltimore area

BALTIMORE, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for the Baltimore area.

The advisory covers all of central and western Maryland and will be in effect from 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14 through 2 a.m. on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.



Forecasters say northwest winds 20 to 30 mph are expected with gusts of up to 50 mph

Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Motorists should use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Residents should secure outdoor objects.
