Assault reported on E. Joppa Road, attempted vehicle theft reported in Hillendale

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating an assault, an attempted burglary, and an attempted auto theft that were reported over the past week.

At just after 6:45 a.m. on Thursday, March 9, someone was assaulted in the area of East Joppa Road at Belair Road in Perry Hall/Nottingham (21236).  No additional details have been made available.



At just before 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, an individual tried to break into a  unit in the 1400-block of Wentworth Avenue in Hillendale (21234), damaging it. The suspect did not gain entry.

At just after 12:45 a.m. on Friday March 10, a vehicle in the unit block of Deboair Court in Hillendale (21234) was broken into and damaged in an attempt to steal it.
