Fatal Dundalk house fire leaves two dead

UPDATE: One of the victims has been identified as Beth Susan Gibson, 66, of the 8500-block of Kavanagh Road, 21222. The second victim has not yet been identified.

Two dogs also died in the blaze.

DUNDALK, MD—Crews responded to a fatal house fire in Dundalk on Tuesday morning.

The fire broke out at just before 6:30 a.m. on February 28 in the 8500-block of Kavanaugh Road.

Units arrived to find heavy fire showing from the rowhome and three people trapped.

At least two people have been pronounced dead.

One man was reportedly able to escape by jumping from a second floor window.  At least one other person is still missing.

The victims have not yet been identified.
