BALTIMORE, MD—The National Weather Service says record warmth is expected in the Baltimore area on Thursday, making it feel more like late May instead of February.
At BWI Airport, a high of 77 degrees is expected. The current record for this date is 78 degrees set back in 1874.
At Washington Reagan National Airport, a high of 81 degrees is expected. The record for this date is 78 degrees, also set in 1874.
At Washington Dulles Airport, a high of 79 degrees is expected. The record is 77 degrees, which was set in 2017.
The warm-up will be short-lived, however, as lows will approach 30 degrees on Friday morning and a light wintry mix may even be possible on Saturday morning.
