BALTIMORE, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for the Baltimore area.
The advisory covers all of central Maryland and will remain in effect until 7 p.m. on Friday, February 17, 2023.
Forecasters say to expect northwest winds of 20 to 35 mph with gusts of up to 50 mph.
Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Motorists should use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Residents should secure outdoor objects.
