Attempted carjacking reported on Loch Raven Boulevard, man threatened with axe in Rosedale

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating two local crimes that were reported this week.

At just before 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14, a woman was driving southbound on Loch Raven Boulevard at East Joppa Road when a silver-colored sedan stopped in front of her. After the sedan stopped, the victim then heard a knock on her driver and passenger side windows.



Two suspects began yelling and yanked on her driver and passenger side door handles. The victim then fled the the location.

At just before 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14, a known individual grabbed an axe while chasing someone  and threatening to kill him in the 1000-block of 68th Street in Rosedale (21237).

The suspect swung the axe in the victim’s direction and then further verbally threatened to harm the victim.
