32-year-old pedestrian killed in fatal Baltimore County crash

LOCHEARN, MD—Police are investigating after a pedestrian was killed in a fatal crash in Baltimore County on Wednesday.

At just after 4 p.m. on February 15, Rahman Savage, 32, was struck by a 2003 Infiniti FX35. The crash occurred on Liberty Road near St. Luke’s Lane (21207).



The Baltimore County Police Department has preliminarily determined that the Infiniti was traveling eastbound on Liberty Road when it swerved into the westbound lane of traffic. The vehicle continued to travel eastbound over a curb where it struck Savage. The Infiniti continued to travel eastbound subsequently striking a telephone pole before coming to rest.

The pedestrian, Savage, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

This crash remains part of an open investigation.
