Shoplifter brandishes knife in Carney, home burglarized in Perry Hall

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating several local crimes that were reported over the past week.

Sometime between February 4 and 8, an individual entered a residence in the 5100-block of Morning Dove Way in Perry Hall (21128) via an unlocked door and stole an undisclosed amount of cash. No other property was disturbed or missing.

Between 9:45 and 10 p.m. on Thursday, February 9, an individual entered a store in the 100-block of Beacon Road in Middle River (21220), brandished a handgun, demanded money, and then fled on foot.

At 3 p.m. on Friday, February 10, an individual broke into a residence in the 100-block of Overlea Avenue West in Overlea (21206) and stole jewelry and electronics.



At just after 11:45 p.m. on Friday, February 10, an individual broke the side glass door to a business in the 7900-block of Pulaski Highway in Rosedale (21237) and stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the business.

Between 7 p.m. on Friday, February 10 and 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, a vehicle was stolen from the unit block of Comet Court in Parkville (21234). The vehicle had a tracking device and officers located it unoccupied in Baltimore City.

At just after 9 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, an individual shoplifted merchandise from a business in the 8800-block of Waltham Woods Road in Carney (21234) while displaying a knife and used racial slurs.
