NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating several local crimes that were reported this week.
At just before 8:45 a.m. on Monday, February 6, an individual broke into a business located in the 1700-block of Amuskai Road in Parkville (21234) and stole an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then fled through the front door in the direction of Chestnut Oak Road.
At around 12:15 a.m. on Tuesday, February 7, police responded to a business in the 2800-block of East Joppa Road in Carney (21234) for a report of an assault. The victim told officers that an individual entered the business and attempted to walk past the counter. When the victim blocked the suspect, the suspect pointed a knife at him. Three other suspects then entered the business and all four suspects stated that they hated Spanish people and that they could come back and kill the victim. The suspects knocked six wine bottles off of a shelf as they left, causing them to break.
At just before 3 a.m. on Tuesday, February 7, an individual approached a woman in the 9500-block of Devonwood Court in Rosedale (21237). The suspect demanded the woman’s purse and work bag. The suspect threatened the victim, ordering her to not make any noise and she complied. The suspect fled in a white sedan toward Franklin Square Drive.
At just before 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 7, an individual asked someone for the time in the area of Windlass Drive and Fairwind Drive in Middle River (21220). The victim walked away and the suspect then started punching and kicking the victim while attempting to steal items from her pocket.
