OVERLEA, MD—Motorists can expect to see some construction along a busy Overlea road in the coming months.

The Maryland State Highway Administration has announced that a utility relocation project will take place along westbound Putty Hill Avenue prior to the bridge over I-695.

Drivers can expect to temporary shoulder closures between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on weekdays.

The project should wrap up by late summer 2023.
