NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating several local crimes that were reported this month.
At 11 p.m. on Friday, January 13, following an argument in the 8000-block of Ridgely Oak Road in Parkville (21234), a known individual damaged someone’s vehicle before fleeing. Later, the victim observed that property was also missing from inside her home.
At just before 11 a.m. on Friday, January 20, someone’s vehicle was stolen while it was parked in their driveway in the 5600-block of Leiden Road (21206). All keys are accounted for.
Between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. on Saturday, January 21, four individuals attacked a woman in the area of Pulaski Highway at 68th Street in Rosedale (21237). The victim sustained multiple lacerations to both of her arms, her upper chest, and a few on her calf.
At just after 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 21, an individual walked through a neighborhood in the 8700-block of Fowler Avenue in Parkville (21234) and placed “biased propaganda pamphlets” in peoples’ front yards, according to police.
At just after 12:45 p.m. on Sunday, January 22, officers responded to the 5700-block of Leiden Road (21206) for a report of a residential building fire. The residence was unoccupied and the blaze was determined to be arson. The investigation is active and ongoing.
