UPDATE 2: Police say the juvenile suspect who was arrested is a student at the school.  All after-school activities on Tuesday have been cancelled.

UPDATE: Police confirm that an “assault” has occurred at the school.  A 15-year-old victim has been transported to an area hospital with “serious” injuries and a juvenile suspect is in custody.

HALETHORPE, MD—Police are responding to a stabbing at a Baltimore County high school.

The incident was reported at around 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday at Lansdowne High School, located in the 3800-block of Hollins Ferry Road.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that there is one stabbing victim at the scene and a suspect is now in police custody.  There is currently a large police presence at the school.

No further information is available at this time.
