Vehicle stolen in Parkville, woman assaulted in Nottingham

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating several local crimes that were reported over the past week.

At just before 11 p.m. on Thursday, January 5, a red Kia Soul was stolen from the 8200-block of Bon Air Road in Parkville (21234).

At just after 2:30 p.m. on Friday, January 6, known individuals ripped the wig off of a woman’s head  in the 8200-block of Perry Hall Boulevard in Nottingham (21236).  One suspect fled the scene with the wig inside their vehicle while a second suspect chased the victim with a pair of scissors, threatening to kill her.



At just before 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, an individual entered a store in the 11500-block of Philadelphia Road in White Marsh (21162) possibly via an unlocked door.  The suspect sprayed the contents of a fire extinguisher all over the store before leaving.

At around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, an individual ripped an undisclosed amount of cash from the victim’s hand in the 6400-block of Petrie Way in Rosedale (21237).  The suspect fled the scene a white Dodge Dart. Police say the suspect was identified and charges are pending.
