NOTTINGHAM, MD—Baltimore County Councilman David Marks has confirmed that a construction worker for the Seven Courts Drive paving contractor was struck by a streamroller on Monday morning.
The worker has been transported to the hospital by ambulance. At this time, there is no update on the worker’s condition.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has halted the project pending an investigation.
The purpose of the project was to resurface areas of Seven Courts Drive and Gunview Road affected by the new water main.
“We pray for the speedy recovery of the employee hurt this morning,” said Councilman Marks.
