BALTIMORE, MD—For motorists who are traveling into Baltimore City, I-895 has been shut down due to a Thursday morning vehicle fire.

The fire was reported at around 9:15 a.m. along northbound I-895 prior to the Harbor Tunnel.

Crews are on the scene and attempting to extinguish the blaze.

All northbound and southbound lanes of I-895 have been shut down.

Motorists should use an alternate route.
